I'm Steph, a wedding photographer and makeup artist based out of Port Hope, Ontario. I love beauty, people, and their unique stories.

How'd I Get Started?
​
I went to college years ago for both esthetics and graphic design. I do neither of those things now, but I stumbled into wedding makeup and photography as a result! Makeup and photography are the most social art forms, and am extremely inspired and motivated when creating with other people. I began offering wedding makeup in 2016 and wedding photography in 2018. I'm incredibly humbled and grateful every time a couple chooses me to be part of their story.
A Focus on Connection

In my photography journey, I've explored genres, but capturing love and connection between couples really speaks to me. As you get older, your love story evolves, and memories will distort. Your photos stay the same and act as a reminder of who you were and where you've been. When you're 90 years old, you'll still be able to look back on a gorgeous photo that not only captures what you looked like when you were young and in love, but also how it felt to be in that moment together. You deserve something more beautiful and valuable than just your iPhone selfies.

When we work together, you will feel like you're hanging out with a friend. It natural to feel awkward and intimidated when you're being photographed and having a strong sense of trust is important. If you feel totally lost when it comes to makeup, I've got you. You will look amazing, I promise.

More About Me
​
Outside of my creative work, I'm a full-time dental hygienist. I love it because I get to chat with people all day everyday. I am passionate about chocolate milk and chocolate cookies (keep your nasty raisins away), horror novels, and my two delightful cats, Pax and Rus (who we adopted from Toe Beans Cat Cafe). My husband and I got married in the mountains in May 2025 (peep one of our many beautiful photos by Gabe McClintock - who's the best). Being married to your best friend is awesome. 10/10 would recommend!

My general style as a makeup artist is radiant, soft, and timeless. The goal is to help you see version of yourself that you want to be when you look in the mirror - not a complete stranger. Your input is important when choosing colours and styles. Whether you're looking for something minimal or dramatic - the choice is yours!

What sets me apart as a makeup artist is my knowledge of skincare and photography. I use products tailored to your skin type and needs to ensure your makeup looks beautiful and lasts all day. I understand how makeup can appear differently on camera, and I apply it in a way that photographs beautifully without looking heavy in real life.
