Do you have a studio?

No, but I am interested in acquiring the things I'd need to set up a portable studio set in the future. For now, I love shooting out on location. Nature trails, farms, and beautiful downtown areas are all excellent options.

Can you do the makeup AND photography for my wedding?

Yes! I've done both makeup and photography for many weddings. If this is something you're interested in, let's talk about it!

What should I wear for my session?

While there's no concrete rules, some general tips are to stay away from graphic T-shirts and large distracting logos For shoots involving more than one person, having a colour scheme to your clothes looks great. Try not to wear clashing colours or really busy patterns. Pastels and neutral colours are usually a really safe bet as they tend to be flattering on everyone, but having a pop of colour in the form of a jewel tone is also beautiful! You want to wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in. Other things to keep in mind are that I wouldn't recommend wearing glasses with transition lenses, and make sure you don't have wallets or cellphones in your pockets! Don't worry about being overdressed. For example, more formal attire like suits, button downs, and gowns look AMAZING, especially juxtaposed against nature. Pretend your the star of a movie and dress for the part! (Unless you really want it to be casual - you do you. I'm just here to help.)

Are you willing to travel for photoshoots and makeup?

Of course, within my comfort zone! I serve Durham Region, Northumberland, Quinte, and Kawartha (all to an extent). Location is one of the first things we will talk about if you're interested in working with me. I generally don't serve Toronto because the city stresses me out.

Do you offer family sessions?

I can. While couples are my specialty, I'd be happy to take beautiful photos of your family, whether its a dreamy outdoor session, or an in home lifestyle session.

Do you offer newborn sessions?

I would be happy to take photos of you and your new baby in your home or backyard, but I do not offer studio styled newborn photos at this time. The studio newborn genre is really complex and I'd recommend anyone who is looking for that style to go to a photographer who specializes in it, as they'll have specialized training in safety and the right equipment.
